Therapy Approaches
-

CBT - (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)
CBT is an evidence-based talking therapy that helps you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are connected. By identifying unhelpful patterns and learning practical coping strategies, CBT can support you in managing difficulties such as anxiety, depression, stress, and low self-esteem.
-

EMDR - (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing)
EMDR is a specialist therapy designed to help people process and recover from traumatic experiences. It uses guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation to reduce the emotional intensity of distressing memories, allowing you to move forward without being held back by the past.
-

Mindfulness
Mindfulness is about being present and aware in the moment. Through simple breathing and awareness exercises, mindfulness can reduce stress, improve emotional regulation, and help you feel more balanced in daily life. It is often used alongside CBT and EMDR to support long-term wellbeing.
